Meetings and events forecasting tool

Challenge

A US based consultancy to the Meetings & Events sales teams wanted to develop an Excel based tool to help their clients with banquet, catering, and sales forecasts.

Solution

They had an existing template in Excel but we turned it into a robust ‘desktop analytics’ solution that would extract all their Delphi Sales & Catering data and using Power Query and VBA turn it into an interactive forecasting solution without any help from IT.

Result

The tool was successfully rolled out to ~50 resorts across the United States.
